Fishing With McNabb Fishing Guide Service

Lake Powell fishing can be fun and exciting if you have a friendly guide that knows where to go, what to use and how to fish the lake. Lake Powell is over 150 miles long and has more coast line than the Atlantic coast of the United States, another good reason to have me guide for you. Lake Powell water level has been low the past few years but it sure hasn't hurt the fishing.

My two sons and wife of 35 years love fishing on Lake Powell. Over the years, I have taken many of our family members and friends fishing on the lake. My granddaughter started fishing when she was 1 year old with her Barbie Doll pole. For me, there is nothing like watching someone catch their first fish or 100th!

I am honest with my customers about how the fishing is really doing on the lake. There are times when the fishing is great and times when it is not so good because of weather, temperature or storms, or it's just a tough time to catch lots of fish. When those times are happening, I will let you know.

I have clients that don't care about catching lots of fish, they just want to enjoy being out on beautiful Lake Powell and take in the awesome scenery and drown some (already dead) anchovies.

In the winter months the waters are calm and reflections of the towering cliffs meet the waters' edge, it's hard to tell where the cliffs end and the water begins. During the winter months fishing on Lake Powell can be good but you have to be willing to brave the cold.

The bottom line is, "I love taking people out and catchin' fish!" I would love to share the experience of Lake Powell fishing with you.
